From the moment I was introduced to Cass, we connected. She was and is warm and energetic. She was kind enough to speak with me and wait with me at the bus stop for a long time after our first rehearsal. In the rehearsal room, she will tell you what certain lines mean to her and how she intended for it to be delivered, while allowing you space to be creative and inhabit the words. What I am most grateful for is the way she always hyped me up and allowed me to find and lose myself in her poetry. Performing ‘Exotic’ gave me release and confidence as an artist – something I will always be grateful for.
